The Pittsburgh Business Center has publically launched its new web site. The new site has a much more interactive feel as well as better user access experience. PBC can now better assist its member base and provide greater volume of content and web offerings. The web site revision was done to show PBC's further commitment to the Pittsburgh small business and entrepreneurial community. Membership still remains free as the center's mission statement reflects.

The Pittsburgh Business Center has announced that it will use the Post - Gazette as it's business news partner. The PBC web site will now provide current Post - Gazette business news articles for it's members to stay current with local business news and updates.

PBC today announced that it’s new business exchange web site and online business community forum (PB Blog) has gone live. The web site www.PittsburghBusinessCenter.com is the first of its kind to create a free virtual online business community devoted to local Pittsburgh businesses and their owners. The concept is to provide an online source of business information as well as an online forum community called the PB Blog which allows business entrepreneurs to participate in an exchange of information, ideas or even just to chat about their own businesses and the hurdles they face managing them. The use of the successful virtual web forum community concept was utilized for the PC Blog as a stage for such exchanges. We hope to provide a place for local business entrepreneurs to quickly connect and interact with each other, new start up entrepreneurs who are looking for tips and tricks to help make their businesses a success as well as seasoned business owners that can act as online mentors who can trade success stories as well as to warn of hard learned pitfalls. The Pittsburgh Business Center believes that together we can grow local businesses and share our successes together as a business community through the use technology and that devoted entrepreneur drive that Pittsburgh is known for.
